Based on GIZ Moldova Regulation in Public Procurement adapted to EU PRAG conditions and based on Decision no. 03/18 from 18.06.2018 the working group on procurement from South Regional Development Agency decided to award the design service contract under the ‘Increasing energy efficiency of Theoretical Lyceum ‘Constantin Spataru’ from Leova town’ project to SRL Arhideea Grup and Conado Design SRL Consortium.
On 2 July 2018, the contracting authority South Regional Development Agency signed the design service contract with the beneficiary of the project – municipality of Leova town and SRL ‘Arhideea- Grup’ in the amount of the bid – MDL 1.335.000,00 (one million three hundred and thirty five thousand lei), with a zero VAT rate.
It is to be mentioned that the two educational institutions from Leova and Basarabeasca rayons will benefit from energy efficiency projects with funds provided by European Union. In this respect, the European Union will give the Republic of Moldova approx. EUR 3,3 million. The energy efficiency measures to be implemented in schools will ensure optimal conditions for professional activity of the staff and learning process of students from several localities. The total budget of the Country project ‘Construction of Water Supply and Sanitation Infrastructure, as well as of Energy Efficiency in public buildings’ financed by European Union is around EUR 43 million and its implementation is foreseen until the end of 2020.
