With the support of CCI, Orhei Branch on 12 May 2015 was held a seminar on ‘Public procurement procedures – information and capacity development of economic operators’, organized within the project ‘Modernization of local public services’, component ‘Complementary private sector support’, through the Pilot Regional Development Programme of the European Union and ‘Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement (DCFTA): Information and building capacity of economic agents’, attended by 30 local economic agents.

The seminar was presented by Mrs Ecaterina Grib, Expert in Public Procurement, who mentioned the importance of deadlines specific for each public procurement procedures, as well as the rights and obligations of contracting authorities and economic operators within procurement procedures, highlighting the need for documentation of parties and their compliance.

The presentation on frequent violations of economic operators and contracting authorities has been exposed by Mr Adrian Dupu, GIZ advisor.

The entire presentation was supported by case studies and practical examples that may be faced directly by economic operators.
