Communication specialists from the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment (MARDE) and Regional Development Agencies (RDA) took part in a workshop on ‘Design, layout and information and visualisation techniques’.
During 12-13 December, Corneliu Comendant, the instructor and facilitator of the training session told the participants about latest design techniques. Also, the basic principles of preparing the content for layout, creation of infographics, editing of photographs and innovative methods of information and data visualisation were presented.
Natalia Cojocaru, communication specialist, RDA Centre: ‘We learned a huge amount during these days. All we have to do now is to practise hard in order to work easily in the programs learned. This course challenged me to discover new skills in me. The trainer’s presentation skills, the format of the workshop and the participants’ interest turned this course into an interesting experience for me’.
Ion Urusciuc, communication specialist, North RDA: ‘This is a training I have been wanting for a long time. The combination of geometry and communication is very useful when it comes to HOW to communicate the message and not only to WHAT message to communicate. For, in developing promotional materials, the way the information is presented would facilitate or even determine its perception’.
The workshop had the aim of building communication capacities of MARDE and RDAs’ employees. The event was organised and supported under the ‘Modernization of Local Public Services in the Republic of Moldova’ (MLPS) project, implemented by the German Development Cooperation through GIZ.
